Programme

08:00 – Transfer from Kiel (pick-up point to be determined) to the Hanseatic city of Hamburg

09:30-16:00 – Visit of student service facilities of STW Hamburg
– Welcome and introduction on the student services provided by STW Hamburg
– Campus Tour of Hamburg University Campus with visit to STW dining halls, cafeterias, and central services
– Innovative and well-established student housing in Hamburg: visit of the „Tide“ and „Helmut Schmidt“ residence halls
– exchange with student tutors in residence halls

16:00 Cultural programme (boat tour in the harbour or similar)

18:00 End of tour / Departure

Practical Information

As part of the conference program, participants are invited to join an optional Campus Tour in Hamburg on 10 July.

The tour will take place at the STW Hamburg and offers an opportunity to explore state-of-the-art facilities and exchange ideas in an inspiring environment.

Participation in the Hamburg tour is available for an additional fee of €40 for ECStA members and €80 for non-members and requires binding registration via the conference registration form.

Please note that participants should plan an extra night in Kiel, as the trip from Kiel to Hamburg will start early in the morning on 10 July. Transportation from Kiel to Hamburg will be organized by bus for all registered participants. Further details regarding the schedule and meeting point will be provided closer to the event on this site.

The main language of the campus tour in Hamburg will be English. Please contact us for further support or if you are worried about linguistic barriers.
