The European Student Affairs Conference unites professionals from public student services that shape the social dimension of higher education in Europe. If you are looking for new perspectives in services as broad as residence halls, dining services, social advisory and psychological counselling services, financial aid, student well-being and belonging, diversity and inclusion, cultural and international student support, the ESAC in Kiel is where you can start the journey.
If you are looking for a fresh breeze in your own work in student services, this conference is made for you! Network with professionals and colleagues from across Europe to find answers to your questions, develop new approaches and solutions, and strengthen the European model of public student services for all.

WHEN AND WHERE?
This 9th edition of the European Student Affairs Conference takes place on July 8-9, 2026 in the Hanseatic city of Kiel, in the North of Germany, on the beautiful Baltic Coast. You can also sign-up for pre-conference events on July 7, 2025 and an optional campus tour on July 10, 2026.

The closest airport is Hamburg Airport (HAM), about a 90min-train ride away from Kiel.
The maritime setting of the conference alludes to the tradition of the Hanse, a medieval international trading company that spun an
international network around the Baltic and North Seas among many different countries and walks of life, bound together by common interests.
LANGUAGES
The main conference language is English with simultaneous interpretation of the plenary sessions and one track of parallel workshops into French and German.
